I think it was bigger than last year, Carl.  Traffic at the trade show was good and our booth was often swamped   :)

This was the calm before the storm....

Good setup Tom,

how is your industry travelling there after the recession ?
Are techs still buying equipment or just enquiring ?
Our government implemented a scheme where we could claim a 50%
tax deduction on assets ( vehicles, equipment) valued at more than $1000 bought between Dec 08 & Dec 09.
The sales activity over here was incredible at the end of last year.
Some companies were selling more scantools etc. in two weeks than  they would sell in six months.

Brad,

We are in a unique position to ride out the hard times.  First, the repair industry as a whole is benefiting from the fact that people are deciding to keep their cars longer and , since they still must work (or seek work), they need their ride to stay running.

Second, PicoScope doesn't cost money, it makes money.  All you have to do is invest in some study and practice and then use it.  It's a no risk investment that will pay off.  Especially when you have access to all the resources at Autonerdz you need to reach your goals with the equipment.

When money is tight, it's even more important to choose your equipment wisely.  Since PicoScope from Autonerdz is the biggest bang for the buck in automotive lab scopes, the choice there is a no brainer.

So yes, techs, shop owners, schools....all continue to invest in PicoScope, once they do the homework.   ;)

Your right Tom,

all my equipment & tools pay their way.

Technicians (including ex dealer technicians)are always suprised how much equipment we have here    :-?

It's a mindset that is hard to change for plenty of people, however after they use the correct tool, scantool, scope once it's " do you know how long that used to take at the last place I worked?".

I also agree, & am bemused when I read of people trying to talk others out of the purchasing pico   :o
