Welcome on-board.

A good place to start is Tom's Training CD's on how to get the best out of your scope.

No worries here. This is a great group of techs.

Welcome and I look forward to input from a fellow Honda tech.

I would check out the fluke 287/289. It has trend plot so you can graph resistance and voltage. Its not like a scope though - its more like it records data then plots it for you. But you cant go wrong with a fluke meter - best you can buy. There is not better DMM, or HANDHELD scope.

No worries about us being kind. We are all respectful here. Although we joke around with each other at times. ;)
Especially me - I have a messed up sense of humor. ;D

Welcome to the group Top4. As Sam and others mentioned I would as say watch the training CD's. For there work with your scope and practice your new knowledge.

As for the DMM I own many but like my Flukes the most. I have the 289 but would suggest checking out the Fluke 233 as that's what I reach for most of the time.

The group here I have found to be very supporting and will overwelm you with help and ideas without most of the bad attitudes I have seen on many other forums.

With that said enjoy and let it rip!   8-)
