Title: Case Study Video Contest
Post by Brian Haley on Jul 17th, 2012 at 3:34pm
Put your case studies to video for a chance to win a Can Test Box or $200.00 credit at the Autonerdz Store!

We are looking for PicoScope video case studies with narration. These can be done with PC screen capture software, camera or whatever other method you can think of. The author of each video we choose to publish will receive their choice of a Pico Can Test Box or $200.00 credit in the Autonerdz Store. Once submitted, the Video will be the property of Autonerdz, but the author will receive full credit for their work. There's a couple of examples of video case studies on the Autonerdz YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gkTvvlE-h0 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQFFHiW2Isg

Chosen videos will be published to the web and may be included with Autonerdz promotional material.

We prefer MPEG4 video format, we can work with other formats but video quality may be effected. Videos need to be less than 30 minutes long.

The deadline to submit is August 15, 2012. Keep in mind, we may choose many videos to publish or we may choose none. Contact tom@autonerdz.com when your video is ready to submit.

Looking forward to seeing what comes in.

Just wondering, how many submissions have you guys had so far?  I'm straining my brain trying to think of something good to do, but not sure if I can fit it in the schedule.

There hasn't been much activity with this yet, at least not that I've heard. I bet you could come up with some good ones Preston.

Robski

Yours is not quite the same as mine, your insulator dropped down and covered the gap, if you take a closer look at mine the needle inside the insulator dropped down.

I got a lot to learn though and now I know why Tom has to wear a woolly hat in the winter, no need for me to go to the barber for a while. :D

that's a cool vid, mick.  i like how you showcased some pico features  ;).

one question for tom or brian, though.  why do most of your current videos have a 2011 copyright?  just something odd that caught my eye on mick's video and the group therapy videos.

Mick, great case study. I’ve never seen just the electrode move like that. For some reason I was not able to view in wide screen format and missed what was on the side of the screen. What are you going to do with all of your winnings?  [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Thanks for the review

The screen capture was a rookie mistake whilst setting the capture size.

I came across a 2011 Toyota with a 2ZRFE engine which has long reach spark plugs in it, so I could not take a compression wave with the dual VVT system. If the 10mm one in the accessory list is what I need then its in my cart.

Thanks Tom & guys,

There are few things I wanted to improve on and maybe the narration could be better but overall I like the content.

For Picogroup members the files I captured during testing are on the drop site under jarvissamuel/ trailblazer folder if you would like to take a look.

Sam
