I am trying to see if anyone out there using snapon transbucers on picoscopes could recemoned some probe settings for good known captures

If you can get the specs for it then you can make a custom probe for it.  We played with one here but don't seem to have the probe we made for it anymore.

If you intend to do running compression tests with it, the pressure values won't mean much anyway.  That transducer has the same problems as so many others out there.  It's not accurate under dynamic conditions and will read impossible pressure values even with a proper probe.

It does make a nice waveform shape though....

Are you powering the sensor itself or using the adapter for the Verdict to connect the transducer to the Pico?

I have a WPS so most of the time I use that but I do use my 0-100PSI Snap On transducer some for fuel pressure.  The scale I use for it is the 5 volt range. I dont know what the exact scaling is.

How the transducer is powered could change it but using the Verdict adapter .5 volts is the zero.  Above .5 is positve pressure and less than .5 volts is vacuum at least on the 100PSI one.

The first reply to this thread contains some rough volts to pressure conversions from Doug Montgomery.

Have fun!   :P
