I guess the gray background preference doesn't get save with the file because it opened with the default white. But because of this I found out how to change the background color.

  The grey background is only going to stay with your scope because it's your setting, it doesn't transfer over to others when opening the file.

thanks, i guess with all the different setups out there, 1 persons color wouldnt match another

  That's one of the reasons it helps to stick with the factory default colors for the channels, so that during discussions we can all understand that channel A is blue, B is red, C is green, D is gold ( or yellow ). 
  Go crazy with the background though if you want to, since it won't disrupt any analysis of the waveform itself.  Some find it odd when looking at the file when posted in the thread as an image, but if you simply attach the file with the image, anyone can look at it how they want to.

I like to work in colors.  Cheesy
The reason for me to change A and B in my scope, is because I can.  Cool
I have 2 other Bosch 4 channel scopes that does not allow me to change colors,
and here is A red, B blue, C green, and D yellow.
And now they are all the same.  Smiley
PS
Look at the date, I believe this is before MCCT.... Tongue
(Not that I knew how to count back then  Grin)
