Hello new boy from the UK

Hello all ,heard good reviews on the nerdz site so thought i would join up .
We repair all different makes of vehicles , i use a Pico scope not all the time but try to use it when i can .
We have Autologic , Ford IDS , Bosch KTS , Merc Star Test , Launch Tablet , Vauxhal Tech 2 , Omicscan .

We carry out all types of repairs , and do quite alot of diagnostic work also , i want to learn more how to get the best form the Pico so here i am .

Hello , yes we find autologic to be very good , the support is as good as the tool , sometimes its not the tool that fixes the job its brand knowledge from the guys on the other end of the phone.
We have never been stuck on a job yet , we have Jag and Landrover , citroen , renault and peugeot (crap package hehe) and Bmw .
Its not the cheapest tool out there but its a good system .

We have had the scope for bout 4 years or so , i dont use it alot really as most faults you have seen before and i can look at data stream and normally see whats wrong .
I will use the scope to back up something that i deem faulty .
I see lots of folk use it all the time for diagnostics , some of the captures i have seen im blown away with the complexity and i do not always quite grasp whats going on ,but thats why im here to ask 'why' ??

Lee, we all have different diagnostic technics here. We are here to learn from one another and to incorporate each other idea's

Some of the members here are serious Pico user's and use it for DIAGing, others use scan data to DIAG and then there are people like myself and other whom use both the Pico and scan data. Wink

Don't feel bad on captures! I am not the greatest either Cheesy

Only way to learn is to read some of the threads and ask questions. Another way is to practice taking captures and post them and ask questions

A lot of knowledgeable people here who will share their insite. Just ask Wink
